Freeda Arlene Parman, age 94, Bethany, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at the Crestview Nursing Home, Inc. in Bethany, Mo.

She was born Nov. 12, 1915 in Hatfield, Mo., the daughter of Louie and Lois (Hill) Lovitt.

In 1935 she married Carl W. Parman. To this union two sons were born, Wally Parman of Blythedale, Mo. and Larry Parman of Ocala, Fla.

Freeda worked five years in the Head Start program and was a waitress in a restaurant at Eagleville, Mo. She was a homemaker most of her life and loved having her family near her. She attended high school at Grant City, Mo. and was a member of the United Methodist Church at Eagleville, Mo.

She lived in Harrison County, Mo. most of her life. In 1988 she and Carl moved to Storm Lake, to be closer to their children. After Carl's death in 1999 she returned to Harrison County, Mo. and at the time of her death was a resident at Crestview Home in Bethany, Mo.

Survivors include Sons, Wally (Rosalee) Parman, Blythedale, Mo. and Larry (Nadeen) Parman, Ocala, Fla.; Four Grandchildren, Tracy (Charlie) Sutton and great-grandson, Kaiser; Bobby (Beth) Parman and great-granddaughter, Caitlyn, all of Kansas City, Mo., Lisa (John) Ronca and great-grandson, Tyler and great-granddaughter, Bryanne of Huxley, and Jill (Jack) Viers of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Faye (Delbert) Pritchard, DeBeque, Colo., sister-in-law, Evaleen (Hugh) Barnhouse, Hatfield, Mo. and many other relatives and friends.,

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Carl W. Parman; grandson, Brian Parman; two brothers-in-law, Lee Parman and Claud Parsons and one sister-in-law, Lorraine Parsons and step-father, Wilbur Lynch.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m.. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, Mo. Inurnment will be in the BV Memorial Cemetery of Storm Lake. The family will greet friends after the service at the City Hall in Eagleville, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Care Hospice of Gallatin, Mo. in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
