James Karl Krambeck, age 49, of Storm Lake, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, on Oct. 20, 2009.
Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial was in the Holstein Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of the arrangements.

James was born on Jan. 4, 1960 in Cherokee, the son of Eldon and Mildred (Tesch) Krambeck. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Holstein. He was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Galva. He attended Galva Community School graduating in 1978.

During his time, James worked at various jobs and most recently as a lineman for Nelson Electric and Midwest Power. James was a quiet, hard working man who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also had a talent for woodworking.

James is survived by his soulmate Kathy; his mother, Mildred Krambeck of Galva; one brother Milan (Joan) Krambeck of Gallipolis, Ohio; three sisters: Linda Peterson of Sutherland; Ellen (Jerry) Peterman of Denison; and Suzan Graham of Quimby; one sister-in-law, Sharon Krambeck of Ida Grove; aunts and uncles: Melvin Tesch of Paullina; Margaret Byers of La Puente, Calif.; Marilyn Tesch of Hartley; Arlene Gray of Moville; and Wayne and Dorothy Ruser of Ida Grove; nephews and nieces.

Greeting James in Heaven was his father, Eldon Krambeck; one brother, Elden "Sonny" Krambeck and his wife, Paula Krambeck.
