Sharon L. Green, age 65, of Albert City, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Albert City. Burial was in the Fairfield Township Cemetery in Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City was in charge of the arrangements.

Sharon Lee Kramer was born on Aug. 8, 1944 in Omaha, Neb. to Harry and Edna (Geiger) Kramer. She was confirmed in 1953 at the Methodist Church in Omaha. Sharon graduated in 1962 from North High in Omaha.

On Aug. 8, 1964, Sharon was united in marriage to Kenneth "Jack" Green in Laverne, Minn. To this union three children were born: Kellie, Deanna, and Billie.

Sharon was an active member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Albert City. She served with the Covenant Women's Ministries as the co-chair, a deaconess, Vacation Bible School, and she helped with trailblazers. She was blessed with the gift of serving and furnishing wonderful food. Sharon enjoyed making prayer shawls for Loops of Love. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and attended various Bible studies. Sharon was also a Resident Advocate at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Albert City.

Sharon had a passion for raising African Violets, crocheting and making ceramics to give away. She enjoyed her church clubs and spending time with her apartment "family" and their gatherings. Attending Bible studies and the Twin Lakes Bible retreats were some of her favorite past times. She enjoyed volunteering at school and the nursing home. Sharon treasured reading, writing, poetry, playing games, and baking cookies. She loved her family and especially, spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth "Jack" Green of Albert City; her children: Kellie (Chris) Jimerson of Atlantic; Deanna (Scott) Johnson of Albert City; and Billie (Larry) Kunz of Laurens; her grandchildren: Cassandra (Adam) Skog of Everly; Andy Johnson (special friend, Bryn Johnson) of Albert City; Evan Johnson of Albert City; Sean Jimerson (special friend, Amanda Bahntge) of Cumberland; Millie Wiley (special friend, Tyler Fiebelkorn) of Exira; Kaitlynn Wiley of Atlantic; Kenneth Jimerson of Atlantic; Alyssa Kunz of Laurens; and Dakota Kunz of Laurens; her great-grandchildren: Kaya Fiebelkorn; Serenity Jimerson; and baby-to-be, Skog; her brothers: Richard (Sandy) Kramer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; William (Jan) Kramer of Omaha, Neb.; her sister, Karol (Greg) Biga of Aurora, Colo.; her aunt, Mildred Kramer of Englewood, Colo.; Dr. Lois Geist of Iowa City, (Transplant Specialist and Loved friend); extended family and many friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
