Woman Commits Suicide.
Mrs. Neva May Smyser-Tolerton, while despondent, committed suicide at Independence, her body being found hanging from a beam in the buggy shed. Deceased was born in Buchanan county April 27, 1879. She is survived by her husband, Fred Tolerton, a four-year-old son, her father, one sister, Mrs. C. R. Kirkner, living near there, and a brother, John Smyser of Spokane, Wash.
