Trudy Marie Ackerman, 42, of Winthrop entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa.

Trudy Marie was born February 22, 1975 at Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Jerry and Nancy Fierstine Cramer. She attended school at West Delaware in Manchester, Iowa.

Trudy was united in marriage to Ronald Ackerman on March 5, 1994. To this union were born three children: Alex, Ashley, and Austin. They made their home in Winthrop for much of their lives. Trudy worked at various places.

She was preceded in death by her son Alex, her grandparents: Junior Fisher and Trudy and Bill Hahesy.

Survivors include Ron of Winthrop; her daughter Ashley of Winthrop, her son Austin of Winthrop; her parents Jerry and Nancy Cramer of Independence; grandmother Harriet Fisher of Manchester; her brother Cody (Leeann) Cramer of Independence, and her sister Jerri (Chris) Langel of Bettendorf; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Church of Christ United in Winthrop. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service at the Church and afterward at Fellowship Hall in Winthrop.

The Fawcett Funeral Home and cremation services is assisting the family with arrangements.
