Mrs. C.E. Gilbert Obituary
Burial services were held at County Corners cemetery Monday afternoon for Mrs. C.E. Gilbert of Waterloo. She had been in failing health for some time but was taken to Allen Memorial hospital only a few hours before her death.

Wavia Leona daughter of Fred and Isa Bigelow, was born Sept. 4, 1912 near Elgin, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Carroll E. Gilbert on June 20, 1929 at Waterloo. Surviving besides the husband are two sons, Robert and Donald; two sisters, Mrs. Ula Deuel of Waterloo and Mrs. Una Mickey of Cedar Falls, and a half-sister, Mrs. Lula Garrison of Muscatine. The parents and three sisters preceded her in death.
