The death of J.L. De Moss occurred Wednesday morning resulting from injuries received from the kick of a horse. The fatal accident occurred Tuesday morning. The deceased was turning some horses out of the barn and one of them kicked at a colt and stuck him in the stomach, the injuries proving fatal. The deceased lived on one of the old Trezona farms near the county corners and during his residence there has made many friends who join in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. The funeral was held Thursday morning, conducted by Rev. S.C. Bretnall and burial was at the County Corners cemetery. -Lamont Leader
