Elmer Mook, age 70, died Friday, June 26, at a Yankton, S. D. hospital, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 29, at the Schroeder Funeral Chapel, Pastor Dean Orris officiating. Music, "The Lord's Prayer" and "Abide With Me was sung by Richard Smith. Pianist was Mrs.. Stuart Harris. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City.

Casket Bearers were James Sturges, Melvin Trometer, Merlin Trometer, Kenneth Mook and Donald Mook.

Elmer Mook was born September 19, 1899 at Independence, Iowa. He married Florence Wise, she passed away in 1950.

Survivors include: A son, Robert of Denver; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Welch of Houston,Texas; Mrs. Shirley Onnen of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Norma Saland of Denver, Mrs. Darlis Myron of Vermillion and Mrs. Sheryl Pyle of Salix; 12 grandchildren, a brother, Roy of Salix; and a sister, Mrs. Maggie Tornow of Denison, Iowa.
