JESUP - Frank J. Glessner Jr., 59, of rural Jesup, died Thursday, Jan. 20, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Frank James Glessner and Myrle O. Baumgartner Glessner. He married Georgene Lou Walitshek Feb. 6, 1972, in Jesup.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1970. He worked at Deere and Co. in Waterloo for 30 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of UAW Local 838 in Waterloo.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Angie (Travis) Morris of Independence and Lisa (Mike Dennis) Glessner of Waterloo; a son, Doug (Susan) Roeding of Fort Worth, Texas; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, James of Waterloo; two sisters, Linda (Jerry) Nicely of Waterloo and Janette (Tim) Widmann of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at White Funeral Home, Jesup. Public visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
