Funeral services for Mrs. O. M. Risdon 78, were held d at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 2, at
the Walker Christian church. Mrs.Risdon died Monday at her home in Independence following a long illness.

She was born Rosabelle Tripp, daughter of John and
Elizabeth Allen Tripp, on Oct.19, 1873,in Harrison county,Mo. She was married to O. M. Risdon April 9,1899, at Troy Mills.

They came to Independence six years ago having previously lived in Brandon and Walker.Mrs.Risdon was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by her husband;one son, Charles of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Straw of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Maymie McFhail of Winchester, Ill, Madge Burke of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Morgan of Gillette, Wyo., and Mrs.Bessie Brazzell of St. Joseph, Mo.
