Milo F. Webb, 89, of Quasqueton, Iowa, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Buchanan County Health Center following a short illness.

Milo was born September 9, 1919 in Marion, Iowa, the son of Frank and Jennie (Norris) Webb. He served in the United States Army, where he was a POW for 17 months. He married Iola Wells on August 7, 1945 in Iowa City, Iowa. He retired after 50 years as an Iron worker for the U.A.W. Local 89.

He is survived by his wife Iola of Quasqueton, four daughters; Virginia (Terry) Kress of Quasqueton, Tammy (Carey) Skocz of Quasqueton, Belinda (Troy) Kress-Baruth of Waterloo, Lisa (Scott) Colton of Quasqueton,, a son Tom (Barb) Webb of Quasqueton, a brother John "Ed" Webb of Independence, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents , three brothers, Cato, Milas and Tommy Webb and two sisters, Alta Mae Penne and Florence Segars.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M.. Tuesday, January 13, 2008 at the Union Church, Quasqueton, with the Rev. Kevin Jennings officiating. Burial with Military honors will be in the Quasqueton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Quasqueton and from noon until services Tuesday at the church.
