Jesup - Timothy Alyn Hickman, 52 years old, of Jesup, Iowa, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, following a sudden illness.

He was born on February 3, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Dale and Diana Lee (Waterman) Hickman. He attended East High School in Waterloo, Iowa. On June 12, 1982, he and the former Bobbie Kay Cousins were married at Grace Baptist Church in Waterloo, Iowa. For 23 years, Mr. Hickman was a truck driver for Marquart Concrete Products in Waterloo. He enjoyed time spent hunting and playing golf, and also loved to play practical jokes. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Hickman is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bobbie, 2 sons, Ty Hickman and Seth Hickman, both at home. He is also survived by his father, Dale Hickman of Waterloo, Iowa, his mother and step father, Diana and Jim Proctor of Waterloo, Iowa, and 2 brothers, David (Chris) Hickman of Gladbrook, Iowa, and Danny (Tooley) Hickman of Bemidji, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008, at the Jesup Bible Fellowship in Jesup, Iowa, with Pastor Todd Dahlgren officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Todd Dahlgren, organist and Mr. Todd Rohlfson, vocal soloist. Casket Bearers will be Tom West, Jerry Storey, Jeff Joyner, Wade Flemming, Dan McMahon, and Al Fritz. Burial will be in Cedar Crest Cemetery in Jesup, Iowa.

Friends may call for visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7th, at the funeral home.
