INDEPENDENCE - Donna Ukena, 74, of Twin Lakes, rural Manson, formerly of Independence and Cedar Rapids, died of pancreatic cancer Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at her home.

Funeral services: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rockwell City, by the Rev. James Hoover Mossman and the Rev. Dr. Arlo Duba. Her body will be cremated after the service. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Palmer & Swank Funeral Home in Rockwell City.

Survivors include her husband, B.J.; two sons, Barry of Topeka, Kan., and Larry of Twin Lakes; two daughters, Debra Jaspers of the Des Moines area and Leslie Ukena of Eyota, Minn.; and her siblings, Doreen Duba of Princeton, N.J., Mary Meyer of Aplington and Milo Eckles of Parker, Colo.
