JESUP - Eric R. Cory, 43, of Jesup, died Monday, Oct. 20, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born May 7, 1965, at the old St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo, son of Robert M. and Emilie R. Jones Cory.

Mr. Cory graduated from Jesup High School in 1984 and earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and computer management from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993.

Survived by: his mother, Emilie Cory of Jesup; a sister, Sarah (Dixon) Stuelke of Waterloo; two nephews and two nieces, Lucas, Kalen, Rachyl and Naomi Stuelke; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Rebecca Cory, on June 28, 1980; his father, Robert, on Nov. 9, 2003; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Cedar Crest Cemetery, both in Jesup. Public visitation after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo is assisting the family.
