Leta B. Ohl, 94 of Jesup died early Saturday (June 22, 1985) morning at her home. Funeral services were held Tuesday (June 25, 1985) at the Parker-Dykeman Funeral Chapel in Jesup with the Max Allen of the Hope Wesleyan Church in Independence officiating. Burial was held in the Littleton cemetery. The Parker-Dykeman was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include four sons, Martin, Floyd and Alfred Ohl, all of Jesup, and Leonard Ohl of Hazleton; five daughters, Wyona Rankin of Jesup, Velma Ohl of Jesup, Ida Mae Blanchard of Waterloo, Virginia Steen of Waterloo, and Evelyn Brickman of Oelwein; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Comfort of Freewater, Ore.; 25 grand-children and 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.

Note: Leta Bell was born on July 14, 1891 and adopted by Martin Alexander and Nellie Amelia (Miller) Wroten.
