Funeral services for Charles W. Ohl, 89 of 549 Dawson St. who died Sunday (Feb 18, 1968) at his home of complications incident to advanced age will be at the Parker Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tues. (Feb 20, 1968). Burial will be in the Littleton Cemetery. Mr Ohl was born Feb 2, 1878 at Ottawa, Kansas the son of George & Ida Murray Ohl & married Leta Wroten of Jesup in Waterloo Aug 26, 1914. He farmed in the Raymond and Dunkerton areas until retiring and coming to Waterloo in 1964. Surviving are his widow; 5 daughters: Mrs. Marshall Rankins of Evansdale; Mrs. Mae Moser of Waterloo; Mrs. Richard Steen of 907 Lincoln St; Mrs. Evelyn Zuck of 2601 LaFayette St. & Miss Velma Ohl at home; 5 sons: Leonard & Floyd of Dunkerton; Martin of Hazleton; Arthur & Alfred at home; 1 sister: Mrs Minnie Haskins, Lamont; 3 brothers: Henry & Bert, Oelwein; & Wilbert of Dunkerton.
