JESUP – Eva Rose Miller, 91, years old of Jesup, IA, died Sunday, October 29, 2006, at the Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo, IA, of natural causes. She had been a resident at Ravenwood the past six years.

She was born April 3, 1915, near Jesup, the daughter of Otto Seemann and Henrietta (Luloff) Seemann. On February 10 1938, she was united in marriage to Melvin Herman Justice Miller at Zion Lutheran Church – Jubille, rural LaPorte City, IA. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2003. Eva was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Miller is survived by 3 daughters, Velda (James H.) Hansen of Independence, IA, Marjorie Miller of Waterloo, IA, and Joyce (Dennis) Becker of Jesup, IA, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Ervin Seemann, Walter Seemann, Wilmer Seemann, Earl Seemann an infant brother, and 1 grandson, Kurt Hansen.

Memorials will be directed to charity.

Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at Zion Lutheran Church – Jubilee, rural LaPorte City, IA, with Rev. Ernest Elzey officiating. Mrs. Renee Jesse was the organist.

Casket Bearers were Kevin Hansen, Kendal Hansen, Ryan Becker, James Henderson, Steve Hummel, and James Clayton with burial at Zion Lutheran - Jubilee Cemetery, rural LaPorte City, IA.
