JESUP – Nancy Lee (Even) Menuey, 54 years old of Las Vegas, NV, and formerly of Jesup, IA, died suddenly Sunday, April 1, 2007, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.

She was born December 21, 1952, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Leonard John Even and Bernice Mary (Bloes) Even. A resident of Las Vegas the past 17 years where she worked housekeeping in the hotel industry.

Nancy is survived by 2 sons, Robert (Beth) Menuey of Oelwein, IA, Paul (Nicole) Menuey of Independence, IA, 1 daughter, Cheryl (Rolando) Cerda of Palm View, TX, 6 grandchildren, 1 step-great granddaughter, her Mother, Bernice Even of Jesup, IA, 5 brothers, Robert (Cathy) Even, Bill (Laurie) Even, Dan (Maureen) Even, Randy (Heather) Even all of Jesup, IA, Paul Even of Waterloo, IA, 2 half brothers, Kenny (Marcia) Rottinghaus and Donald (Donnett) Rottinghaus all of Waterloo, IA, 2 sisters, Judy (John) Clayton of Jesup, IA, Peggy Even of Waterloo, IA, and a special friend, Donald Turner of Las Vegas, NV.

Her father and 1 sister, Patricia, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10. 2007, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, IA, with Fr. Kenneth C. Stecher as celebrant. Burial was at St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Jesup, IA.
