INDEPENDENCE - Doyce A. Strong, 60, of rural Independence, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, in his home after a long illness. Graveside services will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are with White Funeral Home in Independence.
Survivors include two sisters, Ginger Strong of Hannibal, Mo., and Dawn Jacobsen of Independence; and a brother, Jerry of Cedar Rapids.
