INDEPENDENCE - Faye A. Kinsel, 83, of Waterloo, formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo following a long illness. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday at White Funeral Home in Independence, where friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, West Union Cemetery, West Union. Pastor Mike Gray will officiate.

Survivors include two sisters, Verla Mittelstadt of Postville and Laura Schappert of Cedar Rapids.
