INDEPENDENCE - Evelyn F. Hyde, 91, of Independence, died Tuesday, July 31,2007, at Buchanan County Health Center LTC in Independence.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Wilson Cemetery in Independence. There will be no visitation.
White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 5, 1916, in Jenks, Okla., the daughter of Ewing Lane and Mary Azalea (Ishmael) Frailey. On Nov. 3, 1934, she and Kenneth Herbert Hyde were married in Tulsa, Okla. (he died in 1992). They farmed in rural Independence.
Mrs. Hyde is survived by one sister, Shirley Kirk of Perkins, Okla., one brother, Dennis (Carol) Frailey of Sand Springs; Okla., and nieces and nephews.
