WINTHROP - Joseph F. Moellers, 56, died at his home Saturday, June 23, 2007, after an apparent heart attack.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, at St. Patrick's Catholic, Winthrop. Burial will be in St. Athanasius Cemetery, Jesup.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 7:30 Monday at Fawcett Funeral Home, in Winthrop, when a scripture service will be held.
Joseph Francis Moellers was born Dec. 12, 1951, at Algona, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Catherine Hanney Moellers. After attending school in Beatrice, Neb., where he was taught life skills, he worked in Beatrice for a few years. In 1985, until his retirement in December 2006, due to ill health, Joe was a faithful employee of Goodwill Industries at Oelwein. He was a willing worker and enjoyed helping others when he was able.
He is survived by his two brothers: Mike (Linda) Moellers of Cedar Rapids and Pat Moellers of Westgate; his aunt, Margaret Moellers of East Towne Care Center of Independence; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
