BRANDON - Geraldine F. Donley, 82, of Independence, formerly of Brandon, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at West Village Care Center in Independence, following a short illness.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Bear Creek Cemetery, rural Brandon. Visitation was held Sunday at the White Funeral Home in Independence.
She was born Nov. 19, 1924, in Buchanan County, the daughter of Frank and Anna Marie (Marek) Bures. She graduated from the Brandon High School. She married Van Donley and they made their home in Brandon. Mrs. Donley was a homemaker.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Duane (Shelly) Gates of Rowley, La Vonne Adams of Cedar Rapids, Janice (Chuck) Hamlett of Lamont, Carlene (Ghias) Massarani of Calabash, N.C., Wendel Bures of Rowley, and Audrey (Bob) Rouse of Vinton.
