Jennings "Joe" Kaiser
Jennings "Joe" Kaiser, 88, rural Aurora, IA resident, died at his home on Saturday, Jan. 21, 1995. He was born on Feb. 14, 1906 in Black Hawk Co., IA, the son of Philip and Carrie Stirm Kaiser.
On June 3, 1933, he and the former Fern Mary Rippel were married in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Before retiring in 1978, Mr. Kaiser was a farmer in Buchanan County, Iowa. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hazleton, the Farm Bureau, and the Senior Citizens in Lamont, IA.
Mr. Kaiser is survived by his wife, Fern; one son, Ronald Kaiser of Aurora; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother, Charon Kaiser, Greene, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, Jan 23, 1995, at the Presbyterian Church in Hazleton with Rev. Tim Bauler and Rev. Wesley Harker officiating. Music was provided by Lillian Bash, organist, and Delores Gerstenberger, soloist. Honorary casket bearers were Warren Soules, Norman Kaiser, Robert Shaffer, Vernon Hoffman, LeVerne Strickell and Edward Megonigle. Casket bearers were Robert Buckman, Ralph Kremer, John Martin, Richard Svodoba, Dale Keil and Harold Yeoman. Burial was in Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Hazleton, IA.
White Funeral Home of Independence was in charge of arrangements. Friends may all after 1 PM Sunday, Jan 22, at the funeral home.
