SUMNER - Kenneth W. Jones Sr., 70, of Sumner, died at home Tuesday, June 28, following a brief illness.

He was born June 28, 1941, in Sumner, son of Clarence and Matilda "Tilly" Bouska Jones. He married Janice Zell on June 3, 1961, at Immaculate Conception Church, Sumner. She died Nov. 20, 1962. He later married Desiree "Daisy" Jacobs on June 14, 1969, also at Immaculate Conception Church.

Mr. Jones graduated from Sumner High School in 1959 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was employed by Matt Construction, Sumner, for many years.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Keith (Cindy) of Castle Rock, Colo.; two daughters, Nicole (Andrew) Darrington and Tasha (Ryan) Steffen, both of Sumner; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Robert, Roger and Leo; and four sisters, Leola, Mary, Rachel and Dorothy.

Preceded in death by: two sons, Kenny Jr. and Kevin; a daughter, Debbie Jones; a grandson; and a brother, Ralph.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sumner, with private family inurnment at a later date. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday, all at the church. The S.K. Rogers Funeral Home, Sumner, is in charge of arrangements.
