Fred N Primus was born February 25, 1910 to Joe and Anna Primus. On May 31, 1934, he was united in marriage to Luella Schroeder. They were blessed with three daughters, Shirley McConaughy of Dunkerton,Iowa; Linda Bohlen of Shell Rock, Iowa; and Debra Fober of Brainerd, Minnesota. After their marriage, they farmed around the Readlyn, Oran and Westgate areas until Fred's retirement in 1947 at which time they moved to Oelwein, Iowa. Fred is survived by his wife Luella, three daughters, Shirley, Linda and Debra; also two brothers, Arthur of Waverly and Floyd of Sumner; one sister, Grace Hay of Sumner; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grand-children, 2 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Hildebrandt and Dorothy Barry.

Passed on March 23, 1989. Services held March 27, 1989 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein Iowa. Buried in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Sumner, Iowa
