WAVERLY - Imogene Ann "Imy" Kuhlmann, 68, of Readlyn, died at home Tuesday, March 16.

She was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Waverly, daughter of Harold and Ruth Tegtmeier Heineman. She married Larry Kuhlmann on Feb. 5, 1961, at Zion Lutheran Church, Readlyn.

Mrs. Kuhlman graduated from Wapsie Valley High School. She was a homemaker and secretary for the family business for 39 years.

Survived by: her husband; three sons, Kevin (Sandra) of Sully, Tom (Karen) of rural Readlyn and Steve (Dana) of rural Waverly; a daughter, Kim (Tom) Rourke of Fairbank; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Marjorie Brunscheon of Denver; and a brother, Leon (Mary) Heinemann of Readlyn.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Corella; and a brother-in-law, Werner Brunscheon.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Klinger, rural Readlyn, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Public visitation from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Readlyn.

Memorials: may be directed to Community Lutheran School, Cedar Valley Hospice, Waverly, or to charity of donor's choice.
