WAVERLY — Terry Michael Morrill, 59, of Waverly, died Friday, May 3, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, following a lengthy illness.

He was born April 14, 1954, in Waverly, son of James A. and Edith K. Fisher Morrill. On Aug. 30, 1975, he married Lois Schneider at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Waverly.

Mr. Morrill graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1972, then went to work for Ecker’s Flower Shop, Shield Bantam Co., and in the late 1970s for Peterman & Haes. In 1980, he and his brothers, Ted and Tim, started the 3 T Co., and he worked mainly for Jack Abram installing floor covering, retiring in 2001 for health reasons. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Waverly.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Marshall (Rebecca) and Matthew (Abbey Saathoff). both of Waverly; two grandchildren; his mother of Waverly; and four brothers, Tom (Karen) of Racine, Wis., Ted of Cedar Falls, and Tim and D. Toby, both of Waverly.

Preceded in death by: his father; and a sister, Tina Sorenson.

Celebration of Life services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, both in Waverly. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the family.
