TRIPOLI -- Jeannine A. "Jeanie" Buhr, 70, of Tripoli, died Thursday, Sept. 19, at New Hampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 14, 1943, in Tripoli, daughter of Everett and Ruby Bathke Cole. She married Dennis Buhr on Nov. 12, 1961, at First Congregational Church, Tripoli.

Mrs. Buhr graduated from Tripoli High School in 1961. She worked at Trifab, Tripoli, at the Sumner Bakery, for 16 years at Sara Lee Bakery in New Hampton, and at the Tripoli Schools for four years.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Pam (Kevin) Schwartz of Two Rivers, Wis.; a son, Rich (Carol) of New Hampton; seven grandchildren three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Carol) Cole of Tripoli; a sister-in-law, Julianne Zander of Fairbank; her mother-in-law, Mildred Buhr of Sumner; and an uncle, Del Finders of Readlyn.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Penny Lynn; her father-in-law, Reinhard Buhr; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Zander.

Celebration of life visitation: from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rettig Funeral Home, Tripoli, where friends may greet the family.
