Roy S. Cameron, 64, a resident of Janesville, passed away Saturday evening, October 2, 1976 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo where he had been a patient for three days.

He was born on January 21, 1912 in Bremer County, Iowa, the son of Albert A. and Nona Mae Bryan Cameron. He attended the Janesville schools and started a Carnation Milk Route in the area. On February 2, 1935 he was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Davis in Waverly, Iowa. The couple lived in Janesville where Roy continued the milk route until the early 1940's when he became a field man for the Marshall Canning Co. in Waverly. In the early 1950's he entered the carpentry trade in the Janesville area. He helped build the Riviera Ballroom and Bowling Alley in Janesville. Roy continued with his carpentry trade until ill health forced his retirement in 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy and his father, Albert of Waverly. He was preceded in death by his mother.
