Harlan J. Schilling
Funeral Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. for Harlan J. Schilling, 43, Waverly, who died last Thursday at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital after an illness of several months.

Services were held at Peace United Church of Christ with Cleveland Chapel in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Harlington Cemetery.

Mr. Schilling was born November 7, 1919 in Bremer county, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schilling. He had lived in Waverly the past 14 years and was employed as a mechanic at Waverly Motor Company.

A veteran of World War II, he was married at the end of the war to Lois Drewis in ceremonies at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Hulda Schilling, Waverly; five sons, Larry, Jerry, Michael, Kevin, and Bruce, at home; one brother, Wilbur, Nashua; two sister, Mrs. Ben Meyer, Tripoli and Mrs. Robert Heiser, Waverly.
