PLAINFIELD- Funeral services for Pauline Shipp were held Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Horton Baptist Church, rural Waverly. Burial was in the Horton Cemetery, rural Waverly.
Pauline Shipp, 82, of rural Plainfield, died Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Tripoli Nursing Home, Tripoli, of natural causes.
Anna Pauline was born Sept. 9, 1920, at Buck Creek, rural Bremer County, the daughter of Jesse and Mabel (Mishler) Nichols. She attended and graduated from Plainfield High School. On July 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Eugene Shipp in the Horton Baptist Church.
Pauline is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Myrna and Don Williams, Edmond, Okla., and Donna and Terry Davenport, Webster City; one son, L. Kevin Shipp, rural Plainfield; and one brother, Loren Nichols and his wife, Eloise, Waverly.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly was in charge of arrangements.
