Elgin Echo, Thursday, 17 April 1902.
A man named Frank Rowe whose home is at Sumner committed suicide at Bassett Sunday evening April 6, by shooting himself in the forehead. Family troubles is said to be the cause as his wife had recently applied for a divorce.
