Elgin Echo, Thursday, 14 August 1902.

Belle Aborn, of Waverly, aged 30 years, shot herself through the head, July 31, with a 44-caliber revolver. Her body was found shortly after the shot was fired by Sexton Lane of Arlington cemetery, where the suicide occurred. She was the divorced wife of Merritt Aborn, and her maiden name was Belle Beebe.
