Charles Segebarth son of Mr. and Mrs. William Segebarth was born near Spring Fountain, Bremer County, Iowa, December 16, 1882, and died at his home in Fredericksburg, Iowa April 4, 1924.

He lived with his parents near his place of birth for several years, they then moved to a farm near Williamstown, Ia., Feb. 20, 1908 he was united in marriage with Miss Clara Ortman. To this union one child was born, who, with the mother, survive.

For a short time he with his family lived on a farm West of Fredericksburg until on account of failing health he sold his farm and moved to Fredericksburg. For about 17 years, he has been a terrible sufferer from rheumatism.

Besides a devoted wife and daughter, he leaves to mourn his loss two sisters, Mrs. August Pieper of Frederika, Mrs. Anna Mann of Kansas City, Mo., also William of Frederika, Arthur and Louis of Fredericksburg and a host of friends.

The funeral was held at the Lutheran church, on Sunday, April 6 Rev. O. C. Durr officiating.

Burial at Rose Hill.

The relatives have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
