L. Knief, T. Diercks, Mrs. Poock and daughter, Marie, motored to Deshler, Neb., Sunday, having been called there by the serious illness of William Poock. The latter died before their arrival. The body was brought to Readlyn to the home of his mother. Services were from the home Thursday at 2 p.m. and from there to Klinger cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Yockey officiated. His widow and five children survive.
