Reinhardt Bock's Reburial at Tripoli Will Be Wednesday

Tripoli, Ia.-Funeral services for Staff Sgt. Reinhardt W. Bock, who was killed in action on Leyte Nov. 9, 1944, and whose body will arrive in Waverly Monday, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Meier funeral home here.

Military honors will be conferred by the American Legion and VFW posts of Tripoli. Services will be conducted by Rev. H. Wilke of Arlington, a close friend of Sergeant Bock's army chaplain. Burial will be in St. Peters Evangelical and Reformed church cemetery north of town.

Reinhardt Bock was born in Bremer county, Sumner township, Jan. 29, 1918. He spent his life in this community until he entered service Feb. 6, 1942. He saw duty in Hawaii, Austrailia, New Guinea and the Philippines.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Bock; a sister, Mrs. Herman Rathe, and his grandmother, Mrs. Sophia Bock, all of Tripoli.
