LEVI HAGEDORN DIES SUDDENLY

Stricken by Heart Attack Sunday Night; Rites Are Being Held Today

Levi Hagedorn, 71 for many years a prominant farmer living North of Frederika, died suddenly Sunday evening of a heart attack at his home in Fredericksburg.

Funeral services are being held this (Wednesday) afternoon in the Evangelical church at Fredericksburg, and burial is being made at Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Hagedorn was born March 22, 1870, at Naperville, Ill. He was united in marriage to Amelia Malzahn in 1893 at Tripoli. Mr. and Mrs. Hagedorn lived on a farm North of Frederika for many years. A few years ago he retired from farming and moved to Fredericksburg.

He was a director and officer in the Farmers Savings Bank at Frederika for many years.

Surviving are the widow and 11 children, Bertha and Marie at home; Mrs. Anna Priebe, Mrs. Ida Steege, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Leola Munson, Floyd; Mrs. Emma Schroder, La Porte City; Will, Albert, Eddie and Leslie, all of Fredericksburg; Louis, Ionia; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Propp of Waverly.
