William Lange

NOLTE, BIERMANN, MOELLER, EICK, REWOLDT

Wm. Lange, son of Henry Lange and his wife, Katherine Lange, nee Nolte, was born October 10, 1864, at Bokeloh, Province Hannover, Germany and died December 28th, 1933 at the county home.

He was baptized October 30, 1864, at the Lutheran church at Tridensen, Hannover.

In the year 1882 he came to this country to make his home with his uncle, Wm. Nolte, near Bremer.

He worked on farms until he was committed to the state hospital at Independence. He suffered a head injury being the cause for his mind to become unbalanced. Later he was trasferred to the Bremer county home and he remained there until the time of his death. He had been in ill health for over a year, suffering from dropsy and high blood pressure, his death coming suddenly. Burial was made at the Siegel Lutheran cemetery, Saturday, December 30th.

At the time of his death his age was 69 years, 2 months and 18 days. He leaves to mourn one brother and two sisters in Germany, and several cousins in this county, Mrs. Adolf Biermann, Mrs. Herman Moeller, Tripoli, Mrs. Henry Eick, Bremer; Miss Lizette Nolte and Wm. Nolte of near Bremer. the late Mrs. Fred Rewoldt Sr. of Frederika, was also a cousin of the deceased.
