Irene Morning, 82, passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 1980 at the Boone County Hospital. She was a life long resident of the Madrid area.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Ira S. Williams, Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church and played piano for the former First Christian Church services for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and formerly employed by the McRay Company here.
She is survived by a son, Harold Eugene Morning of Madrid; two granddaughters, Deborah and Deanna; a great granddaughter, Brenna Ivy; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Zenor and Mrs. Ruth Beck both of Madrid, and Mr. Marie Legvold of Des Moines; and two brothers, W.O. Sexauer of Texas and Virgil Sexauer of New York.
