Mrs. Lisa M. Kalvik

Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa M. Kalvik, 76, were held Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. from the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. C.A. Gisselquist officiating. Pallbearers were Ray Hasstedt, Harold Holm, Louis Leininger, Lester Leininger, Lowell Leininger and LaVerne Leininger. Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Kalvik was born July 19, 1895 in Boone County, living most of her life in Story City. On Sept. 9, 1926 she married Osmund Kalvik.

Survivors include her husband, Osmond; two sons, Cecil, Story City and Frederick, Radcliffe; and a daughter, Roda, Story City; three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Leininger, Mrs. Minnie Hasstedt and Mrs. Alvina Welch, all of Boone, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Anna Ahrens; a daughter and two brothers.
