Funeral services for Katherine M. Schutt, 95, of Madrid, were Monday, April 7, 2003 at Christ Lutheran Church in Bouton with Rev. Max Phillips officiating.

Mrs. Schutt died Friday, April 4 at the Madrid Nursing Home.

Katherine Schutt was born April 15, 1907 in Bouton, the daughter of John and Ursula (Mathis) Lass. She married Walter Schutt and after his death married Fred Schutt.

Katherine was a homemaker and lived in the Bouton and Woodward area most of her life. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and LWML Church Group.

Survivors include one son, Howard of Woodward; one daughter, Norma Kilmer of Woodward; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Walter and Fred; one daughter; and one sister.

Interment was at Peoples Cemetery near Bouton.

Memorials may be left to Christ Lutheran Church of the Madrid Home. Murdock Funeral Home, Perry, was in charge or arrangements.
