Boone, IA - Genevieve V. Ellsberry, 74, of Boone died of a heart ailment Saturday at Boone County Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Mineral Ridge Cemetery, North of Boone.
Mrs. Ellsberry was born in Hamilton County and lived in Boone most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons, Charles of Ankeny, Michael of Westminster, Colo., and Bruce of Springfield, Mass.; a daughter, Joan Dietz of Fullerton, Calif.; a brother, Bill Bass of Des Moines; five sisters, Mary West and Ina Lee, both of Ogden, Lola Tilley of Des Moines, Elenora Countryman and Karen Nelson, both of Boone; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 today and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stark-Welin Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
