Frank Martin Lilly, age 46 of Boone, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009.
Frank was born on June 23, 1962 in Boone, Iowa, the son of Willard "Bud" Duane and LaVonne Shirley (Scott) Lilly. He graduated from Boone High School in 1981.
Frank worked with Quinn's Foundry of Boone for 9 years.
Frank was a member of the Central Christian Church in Boone. He enjoyed going to the Boone Speedway to watch the races and the Super National's. He enjoyed fishing spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his mother, LaVonne S. Lilly of Boone; his brother, Duane L. Lilly of Boone; his step-sister, Cheryl A. Goodenbour of Boone; his aunt, Deanna Scott of Boone; and numerous step nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank is preceded in death by his father and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at the Central Christian Church in Boone. Rev. Paul Fraser will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Walter ~ Schroeder Funeral Home in Boone from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., then at the church from 12 p.m. to the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be at Boone Memorial Gardens in Boone.
Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.
