Shirley Mae Mickelson died April 22, 2006, at her home in Morristown, Ariz. She was born Dec. 22, 1944, in Pasadena, Calif., to the late Albert and Dorothy (Curry) Pritchard.

She grew up in Boone and married Ron Michelson on Aug. 25, 1963. They lived on a farm in Grand Meadow, Minn., for 20 years, where they raised their three children and Shirley drove a school bus.

They owned Back O' The Moon resort in Grand Rapids, Minn., for 13 years before retiring in Morristown, Ariz.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; three children, Robin (Daniel) Lester of Morristown, Ariz., Rodney (Lisa) Mickelson of Eyota, Minn., and Kristie Michelson of Morristown, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Nathasa Lester of Fairbanks, Alaska, Dusty and Susan Lester and Bryer Mickelson, all of Morristown, Ariz., Aimee Jo Wieck and Haedyn and Noah Mickelson, all of Eyota, Minn.; three sisters and two brothers, Carole (Herbert) Dittmer, Boone; Marjorie (Raymond) Sims, Jefferson, Minn., Mary Jo (Jerry) Mentzer, Boone; Donald (Sharon) Pritchard, Montezuma, and Thomas (Linda) Pritchard, Minnesota; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place at 1 p.m. on May 6 at Grand Meadow Lutheran Church in Grand Meadow, Minn.
