Thea O. Pierce, 82 of Bellevue, Nebraska, formerly of Boone, Iowa, passed away at the Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska on March 17, 2006.

She was born on July 4, 1923 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Thomas and Lulu (Baily) Moss.

Thea was a 1941 graduate of Boone High School and lived most of her life in Boone, Iowa.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and member of the Order of Eastern Star Magi Chapter No. 139.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and her son-in-law, Kenneth Blair.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Blair of Bellevue, Nebraska, and 2 sisters, Geraldine Johnson of Boone, Iowa and Beatrice Imogene Anderson of Malvern, Iowa, as well as 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

Services will be held Saturday morning, March 25 at 11 a.m. at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone with Rev. Andrea Kraushaar officiating.

Interment will be in Boone Memorial Gardens in Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Stark-Welin Funeral Directors in Boone, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
