William "Bill" Adreon, 78, 226 12th St., Boone, died Monday at his home of a heart attack. He was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Grand Junction, the son of Roy and Leila (Johnson) Adreon. He married Marcelline Walters July 9, 1944, in Boone.

The body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Schroeder Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall streets, Boone, with the Rev. Fred Cressman officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone at a later date.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
