Ruth Low, 94, of the Evangelical Free Church Home, and formerly of 524 11th street in Boone, died Friday at the Boone County Hospital of heart failure. She was born on May 26, 1906, the daughter of Thomas and Bertha (McNace) Fenton. She married C. Maloy Low on January 21, 1928.

Ruth also lived in Elmhurst, Ill., Watertown, S.D., and Modesto, Calif. She was a member of A.A.R.P., and the Independent Order of Foresters. She attended Cornerstone Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She was a homemaker, and her hobbies included playing Domino games.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son; and an infant brother. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Diana Nielson of Modesto, Calif. and Barbara and Don Bednarz of Elmhurst, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Joan Low of Watertown, S.D.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets with the Rev. Mark Lanz officiating. Burial will be in the Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel today from 8 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.
