My ancestors Francisca Joerger- Hunt (I don't think Joerger was her maiden, I think it was the name of her 1st husband) and her 2nd Husband Carlton Hunt were Catholic. She died in La Porte City, Iowa in 1879. Their son, Albert Louis Hunt switched to German Evangelical, the faith of his wife. I am planning on ordering the Catholic Church records from there to see if her death is registered. The Belzers were German Evangelical. Someone else told me it could be a Mason Uniform. I am thinking it quite possible that if that is the case, it may be George Schuck. I will post his obit at some point on the BlackHawk website. Thank you for responding. You have given me another possibility
