I have an old photo album with pictures of people from Independence Iowa and Cedar Falls Iowa. My Grandmother Clara Olson grew up in Independence. She was born in 1887. She had relatives that lived in Cedar Falls, Winthrop and the surrounding area. Her family was of Danish descent and attended the Danish Baptist Churches in Independence and Cedar Falls areas. The pictures(about 30) from Independence were taken by Ensminger Bros and Wigwam. The pictures from Cedar Falls (about 15) were taken by C.Sorensen Photography, Veach and Bull, Atherton,and Jensen & Petersen Photography. I am not sure if these are relatives of my grandmother or just people who were from the area. If anyone would be able to identify these pictures or would like to see them please contact me. There are also several pictures taken in Council Bluffs, Chicago and Janesville Minnesota. I am not sure of their connection either.
